At-Home Education

We’re sad that students can’t come visit us at The Mark Twain House & Museum at the moment, but with the resources on this page, they can take a virtual field trip to learn about Twain’s writing, home, and life in Hartford.

In addition to our 3D virtual tour of the home, we’ve provided a variety of educational materials and activities, including adapted versions of some of the programs we do with students when they visit us at the museum, and some games that are silly enough to make Sam Clemens laugh!

We’ll continue adding content for all age groups, so check back frequently to see what’s new.
If you’re an educator, take this brief survey to let us know how we can best meet your needs, or email our School Programs Coordinator with questions and suggestions.
