Part of our Fresh Ink: Spotlight on Emerging Authors Series “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” -Mark Twain
Author Seamus Sullivan will discuss his new book, Daedalus Is Dead, a haunting and inventive reimagining of Greek myth that blends the grandeur of epic storytelling with the intimacy of a father’s grief. Hailed by critics and fellow authors alike for its beautiful language, emotional depth, and bold reinterpretation of ancient stories, Daedalus Is Dead is a meditation on fatherhood, grief, and the monstrous truths we build around ourselves.
Books are available for purchase, and the author will sign copies following the discussion. Register HERE!
The Fresh Ink Series focuses on emerging authors who mirror Twain’s ability to address the cultural complexities of his time through fiction.
