American singer-songwriter Jill Sobule returns to perform three intimate, acoustic concerts in Mark Twain’s Library on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 11, 12, and 13, at 7:30 p.m.
In mid-May Sobule performed two concerts in the cozy library where Twain and his family often entertained guests. The library will seat 35 guests per show, and Jill Sobule will greet concert goers after the show.
Sobule has just released Nostalga Kills, her 12th album and first in almost a decade.
In a Billboard interview, she said, “There were things that happened in my life — the death of a parent, a breakup, a move. I was my own procrastinatrix, is what I call it. But I think those kind of jostle you back into the creative mode, and I started loving music again…”
