Journal Making Workshop (In-Person, Youth Activity)

Each member of the Clemens family kept a journal or notebook at hand–especially when they were on summer vacation! In this workshop, children will make, decorate, and bind their own journals, using our new exhibit on Gilded Age summer vacations as inspiration.

This workshop is recommended for young people between 9 and 16. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets for journal-makers are $10 and include all materials. Accompanying adults should purchase a free helper ticket. All tickets include access to our new exhibit “For Business or Pleasure? Twain’s Summer Sojourns”
