Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Tracy Strauss, author of the new book I JUST HAVEN’T MET YOU YET, and Gina Barreca, Hartford Courant columnist and UCONN Distinguished Professor of English, will discuss “Writing About Love: How to Find It, How to Lose It, and Whether You Want to Bother With It At All.”

Named by Bustle as one of eight women writers with advice to follow, Tracy Strauss has published numerous essays in Glamour, New York Magazine, Oprah Magazine, The Millions, Ms. Magazine, The Huffington Post, Salon, Publishers Weekly, Ploughshares, The Rumpus, xoJane, Poets & Writers Magazine, Writer’s Digest Magazine, WBUR’s Cognoscenti, Dame Magazine, The Feminist Wire, The Southampton Review, and other publications. In 2014, she appeared on The Steve Harvey Show as a relationship blogger for The Huffington Post. Winner of the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund Award for nonfiction, former essays editor for The Rumpus, and the 2015 Boston Writers’ Room Fellow in Nonfiction, Tracy currently teaches writing at New England Conservatory and GrubStreet in Boston.
