Don’t miss this special evening on Thursday, June 14 with three of the funniest females around: Sloane Crosley, Nell Scovell, and Ophira Eisenberg!
Sloane Crosley said in The New York Times: “I like dry humor with a stick of dynamite strapped to it.” Her essay collections are: I Was Told There’d Be Cake, How Did You Get this Number, and the new Look Alive Out There. She is also the author of The Clasp, a New York Times Editors’ Choice and national bestseller. Crosley writes the books column for Vanity Fair.
Nell Scovell was a writer for Late Night with David Letterman which she writes about in her book Just the Funny Parts…And a Few Hard Truths About Sneaking into the Hollywood Boys Club. She is a television and magazine writer, producer, director and collaborator on Sheryl Sandberg’s bestseller Lean In.
Ophira Eisenberg is a comedian, writer, and host of NPR’s Ask Me Another. She has appeared on HBO’s Girls, Gotham Live, The Late Late Show, The Today Show, The Nightly Show, Comedy Central, and VH-1. She is also a regular host and teller with The Moth; her stories are part of their award winning radio show, podcast, and NYT best-selling book. Her comedy special Inside Joke was released by New Wave Entertainment and available on Amazon and iTunes.
