About the Author: Samantha Irby is an American comedian, essayist, blogger, and television writer. She is the creator and author of a blog where she writes humorous observations about her own life and modern society more broadly. Her books We Are Never Meeting in Real Life and Wow, No Thank You. were both New York Times best-sellers. She is a recipient of the 2021 Lambda Literary Award for bisexual nonfiction. 

About the Moderator: Kenice performs stand up comedy around the world and recently made her late night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In 2021, she was listed as one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know. In 2022, she performed at the Netflix is A Joke Festival as part of the taped show “Introducing….”. She is currently a digital creator at Comedy Central and works with Goodlaugh, an organization using comedy for social good.
