Part of our Endless Possibilities Series:
“Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.” – Mark Twain
Join award-winning memoirist and poet Rex Ogle for a powerful conversation with fellow author Rasheed Newson about When We Ride, his gripping novel-in-verse exploring loyalty, friendship, and survival. The story follows a hardworking teen determined to escape his crumbling neighborhood until his best friend’s descent into dealing pulls him into a world of drugs, violence, and impossible choices—and a reckoning that could cost him everything.
Books are available for purchase on-site and online HERE.
The Endless Possibilities Series features stories about young people facing modern challenges, connecting us to Twain’s enduring interest in coming-of-age narratives.
