I am a maximalist at heart and am so in love with all the little things that I collect. They are my treasures ! I cannot help myself from falling in love with all the little bits and bobs of trims, and vintage ribbons, and sequins, and metal stampings and semiprecious stones, and tiny glass pieces, and rhinestones, and vintage buttons and colors and…. that I use to create my work.Layering them and meshing them so that all those little precious parts shine together and create a balance, a nostalgia, a textural dance, that takes on it’s own personality and style is my thrill . My work exudes a timelessness that straddles both the modern and the vintage world. It’s earthy yet blingy, its classic yet boho, it’s mid-century yet antique, it’s runway or everyday.
