Bank of America has awarded a $10,000 grant to The Mark Twain House & Museum.
“We look forward to working with Bank of America this year and in the future,” said Pieter Roos, Twain’s Executive Director. “We greatly appreciate Bank of America’s insight into the difference that we make, both to our community in Greater Hartford and to the many visitors who see us from around the country and around the world.”
Joe Gianni, Bank of America Hartford Market President, said “The Mark Twain House is a key part of the fabric of the Hartford community, and our state. We are fortunate that Twain lived here and wrote some of his most important work in Hartford. His iconic legacy must be preserved. Bank of America is proud to be a partner in that effort.”
The funds will be used to support the museum’s education and cultural programs that serve community members of all ages.
