“The last fad is ‘ghost-autographs.’ You write your name down the crease, then fold & press the paper while the ink is still wet & will blot. It generally makes something resembling a skeleton.” -Sam Clemens to Clara Clemens, 1905

With his 1905 book The Ghosts of My Friends, author Cecil Henland started a craze for capturing “ghost signatures”–and even Mark Twain got in on the fun! In this workshop, you’ll craft your own album for collecting ghost signatures, and learn the best techniques for getting the spookiest results!
