As an extension of The Mark Twain House & Museum’s upcoming Trouble Begins Presentation on the Life and Legacy of George Griffin, we invite you all to embark on a special Living History Tour with George Griffin himself!

While on tour, visitors will travel back in time to 1885 where they’ll be escorted by Mr. Griffin (played by Matt Simmons) who will recount his personal anecdotes with Twain and what it was like to work in the house as a longtime employee of the Clemens Family.

Limited spots available! Tickets: $30 (adults/seniors), $22 (children ages 1-16). Members please login for your benefits. Click HERE to Reserve your tickets.

You can learn more about Griffin when you attend  The Life and Legacy of George Griffin: A Trouble Begins Special Event on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00pm! Join us early to meet Mr. Griffin and see the house with him.  Both of the special tour times are intended to get you back to the museum center in time for the pasta reception at 5:30pm and the lecture at 6:00 pm when our special guests will introduce new scholarship about the real historical person. Register here.
