About Nook Farm:
Once a hub of civic engagement, Nook Farm was famously described by Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Joan Hedrick as a place where “there was no pot left unstirred.” Neighbors like Stowe and Twain often engaged in spirited discussions here. Through the Lawn Party, we honor that tradition by bringing the community together for this special event. We look forward to seeing you there for an unforgettable day of community and celebration at Nook Farm!

Three performances of A Love-Chase, a play by Mark Twain’s daughter Susy, will occur during the Lawn Party at Nook Farm. The three performances are free and tickets will be available at the door first come first served. We will issue tickets to manage the capacity limits of the space.

On June 8, tickets can be secured in person at the museum center ticket counter all day and at the door to the performance space 30 minutes prior to each performance.

Performances will be 11am & 1:30pm in the Barn and 3pm in the Drawing Room of the House.
