Mark Twain House & Museum Executive Director Pieter Roos said it’s a critical part of The Mark Twain House & Museum’s mission to reach out to the local community. “Building relationships with your neighbors is so important today, and we’d like to ensure Twain’s house is viewed as a community resource for education and social commentary.” The house has been recognized by National Geographic Magazine as one of the world’s ten best historic houses and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
